Located in the dense woodlands of Milroy, Pennsylvania, Hartman Center Campground is a sprawling getaway to the great outdoors. Our family-friendly retreat is spread over 150 acres and offers a variety of outdoor activities and accommodations. Our campground features 30+ full hookup RV sites, nine two bedroom cabins for families, 11 modern tiny homes with hot tubs for couples, a beautiful wedding venue and much more.


We offer a range of amenities and attractions including a swimming pool, hiking trails, a fishing pond, and a creek for wading. We also serve as a venue for weddings and corporate retreats, with a chapel and dining hall available for events. We have easy access to several nearby attractions, including Penn State University, Penn's Cave & Wildlife Park, and Seven Mountains Winery.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q: Are you open year round?

    A: Yes, all of our sites and rental spaces will be available for reservations year round.

  • Q: What time can I check in?

    A: Check in for all sites is 3 pm or after. You will receive a text with check in instructions the day before your check in. For the cabins it will include everything you need for self check in including a door code.

  • Q: Can I check in early?

    A: Yes, we do have an early check in policy.


    - Cabin early check in fee is $15 per hour. Any check in prior to 12 PM would be charged 50% of one night.


    - For tents and RVs, if you are checking in between 12 PM and 3 PM there will be a $15 early check in fee. Check ins prior to 12 will be charged 50% of one night.

  • Q: What time is check out?

    A: We have separate check out times for our cabins and tent/RV sites.


    -Cabin check out time is 12PM. Late check out fee is $15 per hour. Any check out after 3 PM would be charged 50% of one night.


    -Check out time for RV/tent sites is 1 PM. Any check out between 1 PM and 4 PM will be charged $15. Checkout after 4 PM will be charged 50% of one night.

  • Q: What is your cancellation policy?

    A: If you cancel prior to two weeks from your reservation date you will be charged a minimum of $35 or 6% of your reservation. If you cancel less then two weeks from Your reservation date you will be charged a one night stay. If you cancel less than one week from your reservation date there will be no refund. 


    ~There will be no refunds for PSU Blue&White games, regular season games, and graduation weekends, holiday weekends~


    We do offer worry free booking (for an extra 10% of your reservation amount) which is processed through a third party and will allow you to apply for a full reservation refund within 14 days of your reservation date for unexpected illnesses, Medical issues, injury, or immediate relative emergencies.

  • Q: What is there to do at your campground?

    A: We have a lot of activities throughout the campground for all ages. Here are some of the activities you can enjoy at Hartman Center Campground: Swimming pool, sand volleyball, basketball courts, pickleball, tetherball, playsets, approximately 2 miles of hiking trails, a fishing pond, and much more.

  • Q: When is your pool open?

    A: Our pool will be open for our guests to use during their stay from 11am-sunset, Memorial day weekend thru Labor day weekend.


  • Q: Do you allow pets?

    A: Yes we do! We allow pets up to 35 lbs in our 2 bedroom cabins and lodge, and there is no weight limit on pets for our tent and RV sites. For pets in the cabins (2 pet max) and lodge (4 pet max) there will be a $20 extra charge per pet per night, however there is no pet fee or limit for our tent and RV sites.
